All'inizio del 1921, dopo un breve soggiorno in Sicilia, lo scrittore inglese D.H. Lawrence e la moglie Freida partirono per la Sardegna.  La cronaca di quel viaggio, che descrive le esperienze e le sensazioni di Lawrence, è narrata nel libro Sea and Sardinia (Mare e Sardegna).  Esattamente un secolo dopo il fotografo e art director Daniele Marzeddu e il suo gruppo ripercorrono i passi di Lawrence.  L'esperienza verrà fotografata e ripresa e porterà alla produzione di un film documentario:  Return to Sea and Sardinia . Come  Sea and Sardinia  è più di un libro di viaggio, così un film che racconta la sua storia deve essere più di un film. Perciò questo progetto comprende, tra immagini, suoni e voci, una serie di iniziative che saranno rivelate in seguito. Il progetto originale prevedeva di girare in gennaio, il mese in cui Lawrence è sbarcato in Sardegna, ma di fronte alla catastrofe virale anche il piano più perfetto è costretto a cambiare. D.H. Lawrence's map of Sardinia  In early 1921, after a stay in Sicily, D.H. Lawrence set out with his wife Freida to travel through Sardinia.  The chronicle of that journey, describing the experiences and feelings of the English writer, is narrated in the book Sea and Sardinia . Exactly one century later, the Photographer and art director Daniele Marzeddu and his team plan to retrace Lawrence’s steps this year and will capture their experiences through photography and a documentary film: Return to Sea and Sardinia .  As well as Sea and Sardinia is more than a travel book, a film that tells its story must be more than a film. Therefore, this project includes a series of actions, which will be revealed later, between images, sounds and voices, The original plan was to film in January, the exact month Lawrence landed in Sardinia, but faced with a viral calamity, even the most perfect plan has be forced to change. For the time being we must confine ...
